Have you ever wanted to learn how to use a computer, or an MP3 player or digital camera, or go on to the internet, or have an email account, or learn about blogs and Facebook, or buy a computer? Then these classes at the Peoria Main Library are for you. The classes are open to all adult members of the public. Please feel free to bring your devices for the related classes.
Computer Basics Topics:
- Monday, Feb. 2, @ 2 p.m. - Email Basics: earn how to send, reply, and forward emails. Also, learn how to attach files to emails and to use your contact list.
- Monday, Feb. 23, @ 2 p.m. - Mobile Devices: This introductory class will remove some of the mystery many of us experience when using new smart phones and tablets.
- Monday, Mar. 2, @ 2 p.m. - Windows: This introductory class will walk you through the basics of using the Windows OS.
A.I. Topics:
- Thursday, Feb. 26, @ 4 p.m. - Interaction with A.I.: Join us as we review how to use ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Co-Pilot and other Gereative AI websites.
- Thursday, Mar. 26, @ 4 p.m. - Design with A.I.:This beginner-friendly AI class invites adults to explore artistic expression through music, graphics, simple coding, and organizational tools in a relaxed, creative environment. The focus is on fun, curiosity, and experimentation, using AI to organize ideas, play with code, and create without pressure.
