These services offer you thousands of e-books, e-audiobooks, magazines and more for free! All you need is your favorite device and a Peoria Public Library card to access them in the comfort of your own home or anywhere you happen to be.

The Greater Phoenix Digital Library (Libby/OverDrive) gives library users 24/7 access to your digital collection of e-books, audiobooks and magazines. Users can access our digital collection, borrow titles, and enjoy them in many different ways: through the Libby app, in their browser, on eReaders or in Kindle reading apps (U.S. only).

Borrowing Guidelines:

  • Each cardholder may check out up to 10 titles at a time.
  • Each cardholder may place up to 8 holds.
  • The lending time is 14 days.
  • Online magazines do not count toward the 10 item limit.

CloudLibrary

Too many holds on items in other apps or they do not offer the story in which you are looking? Try Bibliotheca's cloudLibrary! CloudLibrary makes it easy to discover the content you want to read. It offers users 24/7 access to the Library's collection of e-books and audiobooks, as well as those collections from our cloudLibrary partners, and place holds in case the item is out. Whether on the web, a tablet, a mobile device or the Library’s computers, you can browse thousands of titles and check out up to ten at a time with a two week checkout period.

The cloudLibrary app is freely available through the both the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. After the app is installed, search for and select the Peoria Public Library (AZ) and enter in your Library card and pin numbers. Once set you can start reading/listening today! Comics Plus, powered by LibraryPass, is a digital platform offering thousands of digital comics, graphic novels and manga to readers through school, public, and academic libraries. You can access titles using a smartphone, tablet, or web browser, and can be downloaded to multiple devices. There is never a wait to read, all titles are unlimited access simultaneous use. All you need is your Peoria Public Library card to access thousands of issues! #ReadAllTheComics

Present by the Arizona State Library, Reading Arizona is a selection of nonfiction and fiction eBooks and Audiobooks for all ages interested in Arizona topics and themes. Content is provided through the Boundless app. New titles are added each month, so visit their holdings often to find your next great read.

Access Instructions:

  1. Please read these instructions to learn how to create an account, then Click Here to create your free account.
  2. Read! You can now login and borrow titles online or using the Boundless app on your Apple or Android device. If you choose to download the Boundless app, select Reading Arizona as your library and enter the username/password you created in Step 1 when prompted.

This e-library offering is supported by the Arizona State Library, Archives & Public Records, a division of the Secretary of State, with federal funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.


Freegal Music Downloads

Freegal offers access to about 11 million songs, including Sony Music’s catalog of legendary artists, and over 15,000 music videos. In total the collection is comprised of music from over 28,000 labels with music that originates in over 100 countries. There is no software to download, and there are no digital rights management (DRM) restrictions. Access to Freegal is limited to patrons of subscribing libraries.
