4/8/2025: Laptop Lending Program Being Sunset
The Laptop/Chromebook lending program is being sunset at the Peoria Public Libraries beginning Apr. 8. Current holds/requests on the items will be fullfilled and may be checked out for their normal 3 week circulation period. There will be no renewals.
Look for a new in-house Chromebook service to be announced soon.
4/26/2025: Peoria Main Library - Explore the Library: Resource Fair
Join us at the Peoria Main Library on Saturday, Apr. 26, at 10 a.m. for Explore the Library: A Resource Fair! This free community event explores community organizations and services available to people of all ages. Receive free health screenings, employment opportunities, mentoring programs, early literacy programs, senior services, legal assistance, and family support. 4/26/2025 & 5/31/2025: Peoria Main Library - Music and Movement Storytime Cancelled
The Music and Movement Storytime sessions scheduled for Apr. 26 and May 31 at the Peoria Main Library have been cancelled. It will resume on the following Saturdays at its normally scheduled day and time. Please contact the Peoria Main Library at (623) 773-7578 with any questions.

3/15/2025: Sunrise Mountain Library - Item Donations
Starting Saturday, March 15, 2025, Sunrise Mountain Library will no longer accept book and item donations as The Friends of the Peoria Public Library prepare for the relaunch of the Resale Book Shop this fall. Please contact Sunrise Mountain Library at (623) 773-8650 with any questions.
12/23/2024: Peoria Main Library - Adult Lab Closure
Update - 2/3/2025: Due to delays in construction, the Adult Lab at the Peoria Main Library is still closed. We are working expediently to complete the project and reopen the lab. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Due to an exciting new project and improvements coming to the 2nd floor at the Main Library starting in late December, the adult computer lab will be unavailable from Dec. 23 through Jan. 31.
