5/19/2026: Public Printing Unavailable
Due to technical difficulties, public printing services are currently unavailable at the Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library. We are working diligently to restore the service as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please chack back here for further updates.
6/1/2026 - 7/20/2026: 2026 Summer Reading Program
'Unearth A Story' at the library as the 2026 Summer Reading Program is here! Starting June 1, people of all ages may participate by signing up and reading 20 minutes a day to earn incentives and prizes all summer long!

6/4/2026: Peoria Main Library - Bilingual Storytime - Cancelled
The Bilingual Storytime at the Peoria Main Library scheduled for June 4 has been cancelled due to the Unearth a Kickoff Party happening at the library. The storytime will return for its normal schedule on June 11. Please call the Peoria Main library at (623) 773-7578 with any questions.
6/19/2026: Library Holiday Closure
The Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library will be closed Friday, Jun. 19, in observance of the Juneteenth holiday. The buildings will reopen on the following Saturday, Jun. 20, at 11 a.m. Library materials that would have been due Jun. 19 will not be due until the next business day.
The outside bookdrops will be unavailable during the closure.
6/29/2026 - 7/4/2026: Storytime Break
Storytimes will be on hiatus at the Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library from Jun. 29 through Jul. 4. They will return for their normally scheduled times the week of Jul. 6. 7/3/2026 - 7/4/2026: Library Holiday Closure
The Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library will be closed Friday, Jul. 3, and Saturday, Jul. 4, in observance of Independence Day. 6/5/2026 - 7/31/2026: Peoria Main Library - Lego Club - Summer Hours
The Lego Club at the Peoria Main Library will be moving to summer hours, 1:30 p.m. - 3 p.m., beginning Jun. 5. The club will return to its normal time, 3:30 p.m. - 4:45 p.m., on Aug. 7. Please call the Peoria Main library at (623) 773-7578 with any questions.
7/18/2026: Sunrise Mountain Library - Master Gardeners - July Hiatus
The Master Gardeners program will be on hiatus during the month of July. It will return for its normal scheduled days/times on August 15. Please call Sunrise Mountain Library at (623) 773-8650 with any questions.
