Fantasy Fest
Sunrise Mountain Library
Saturday, Nov. 8, @ 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
Sunrise Mountain Library will be celebrating all things fun and fantasy with our annual Fantasy Fest! Join us on November 8 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. for BINGO, crafts and all things fantasy! Dress in your finest family friendly cosplay costume and join us for a morning of fun. There will be something for everyone!
Extra: If you wish to trade any unwanted decorative enamel pins or buttons, fill your inventory with them, bring them to Fantasy Fest and seek the one who wields the Pincushion Shield, known as the Mysterious Pin-Trader!

11/10/2025: Library System Update
The Peoria Public Library will be updating its integrated library system the morning of Nov. 10. During this time there will be no access to our online systems including the website, catalog, e-libraries & e-resources, or self-checkout machines during the update. The update should be completed by mid-morning at the latest. The buildings will be open for their normal operating hours during this time.

11/8/2025: Sunrise Mountain Library - Fantasy Fest
The Sunrise Mountain Library will be celebrating all things fun and fantasy with our annual Fantasy Fest event on November 8 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Join us for BINGO, crafts and more! 11/8/2025: Sunrise Mountain Library - Crafternooners: Cancelled
Crafternooners will be on hiatus during the month of November. It will return for a special December date of 12/3. Please call Sunrise Mountain Library at (623) 773-8650 with any questions.
11/11/2025: Holiday Closure
The Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library will be closed Tuesday, Nov. 11, in observance of Veterans Day. The buildings will reopen on the following Wednesday, Nov. 12, at 9 a.m. Library materials that would have been due on Nov. 11 will not be due until the next business day. The outside bookdrops will be unavailable during the closure.
11/24/2025 - 11/29/2025: Storytime Break
Storytimes will be on hiatus at the Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library from November 24 through November 29. They will return for their normally scheduled times the week of December 1. 11/24/2025: Peoria Main Library - Ecorobotik Workshop Cancelled
The Ecorobotik scheduled for Monday, Nov. 24, at the Peoria Main Library has been cancelled. It will return at its normal time on Dec. 8. Please call the Peoria Main library at (623) 773-7578 with any questions.
11/27/2025 & 11/28/2025: Library Holiday & Early Closures
The Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 26.
Both libraries will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27, and Friday, Nov. 28, in observance of Thanksgiving. The buildings will reopen on the following Saturday, Nov. 29, at 11 a.m. Library materials that would have been due on either Nov. 27 or Nov. 28 will not be due until the next business day. The outside bookdrops will be unavailable during the closure.
12/4/2025: Delayed Opening - 11 a.m.
The Peoria Main Library and Sunrise Mountain Library will open at 11 a.m. on Thursday. Dec. 4.
Peoria Main Library: The Family Storytime at the Main Library, scheduled at 10:30 a.m. is cancelled.
Sunrise Mountain Library: All storytimes are cancelled.
